Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his feelings after scoring a beautiful goal with a header Al Nasser slaughtered Monastir 4-1 in the Arab Champions League, Tuesday (1/8) early morning WIT.
Al Nassr successfully slaughtered Monastir with a score of 4-1 in the second match of Group C of the Arab Champions League at the King Fahd Stadium, Taif, Monday (31/7) evening local time or Tuesday (1/8) early morning WIB.
Al Nassr’s four goals in this match were scored by Anderson Talisca, Cristiano Ronaldo, Abdulelah Al Amri and Abdulaziz Al Elewai.
Ronaldo was unable to hide his happiness after scoring a goal in this match.
“Nice win. Happy to score and to be on top of our group!” said Ronaldo quoted from his Instagram page, Tuesday (1/8).
Anderson Talisca opened Al Nassr’s lead in the 42nd minute with a shot from inside the opponent’s penalty box after following Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s pass.
Al Nassr conceded in the 66th minute through an own goal by Ali Lajami. But Cristiano Ronaldo through his header managed to bring Al Nassr 2-1 ahead in the 74th minute after continuing Sultan Al Ghannam’s bait.
In the 88th minute Abdulelah Al Amri succeeded in bringing Al Nassr to widen the advantage to 3-1. Then Abdulaziz Al Elewai ensured a 4-1 win for Al Nassr after scoring a goal in the 90th minute.
This victory has made Al Nassr now lead the standings in Group C of the 2023 Arab Champions League by picking up four points from the two matches played.
