Cristiano Ronaldo could have gotten into trouble after seemingly bypassing the restrictions due to pandemic for a two-day snow excursion.
The Juventus star and his partner Georgina Rodriguez spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Courmayeur in the region of Valle de Aosta in northeastern Italy.
A video of the couple riding a snowmobile was posted on social media and later deleted.
Cristiano lives in the neighboring region of Piemonte, which is currently prohibited from moving from one region to another, with exceptions such as moving to a second residence.
The police are investigating the situation.
