The International Federation for the History of Football and Statistics (IFFHS) has published the list of the top 20 scorers of the decade, ranging from 2011 to 2020.
Unsurprisingly, the five-time Golden Ball Cristiano Ronaldo is in the lead with 332 goals.
If in the table Lionnel Messi (346) has more goals, it is after 27 more games compared to the Portuguese that the latter won over the Argentine, reports the IFFHS.
According to this body, Robert Lewandowski has 248 goals, Zlatan Ibrahimovic with 236 goals and Luis Suarez who 224 goals make the TOP 5 of this ranking.
On the other hand, Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in 9th position with 192 goals and is the only African to appear in this table of the decade ahead of French Karim Benzema (12th, 168 goals) and Belgo-Congolese Romelu Lukaku (13th , 155 goals).
Note that the International Federation Og Football History and Statistics is an organization of historical and statistical studies of football. Created since 1884, this structure is known for its multiple rankings of clubs and personalities in the world of football, and in particular its world ranking of football clubs (a ranking of which the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has no ‘equivalent.)
