After the Spanish Grand Prix, the two main Ferrari drivers, the Spanish Carlos Sainz and the Monegasque Charles Leclerc, traveled to Maranello, Italy, to receive a special guest, the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo traveled together with the Juventus managers to the team’s headquarters. The Italian league squad is owned by the Agnelli family, who are shareholders of FIAT and Ferrari.
According to information from the local press, the star of the team met with John Elkann, the CEO of the Maranello house and Andrea Agnelli, who is part of the shareholders of the sports car company.
During the visit, Ronaldo handed over two signed jerseys to both Sainz and Leclerc during the Portuguese star’s visit to the private circuit that the company has on one side of the wind tunnel.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus will face Serie A matchday 36 against Sassuolo this Wednesday, while Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will participate in the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, May 23.
