Cristiano Ronaldo to Pogba Slide Sponsor Bottle, Here’s Harry Kane’s Response: Okezone Bola

LONDON – England national team captain, Harry Kane, comment on the action Cristiano Ronaldo until Paul Pogba shifted the sponsor’s drink bottle that was presented on the Euro 2020 press conference table. For Kane, things like that should not be done.

A line of players are currently getting more attention from the public for shifting drink bottles in the post-match press conference. First of all, the action was carried out by Cristiano Ronaldo.

CR7 – Ronaldo’s nickname – shifted the Coca-Cola bottle during a press conference after the Hungary vs Portugal match in the inaugural matchday of Group F of the 2020 European Cup. It is known, Ronaldo’s action at that time had a big impact on Coca-Cola shares.

After Ronaldo, it was Pogba’s turn to shift the drink bottle at the press conference. Not Coca-Cola, Pogba got rid of the Heineken bottle.

This action is known to have been carried out because Ronaldo and Pogba did not consume the drink. Ronaldo does not drink soda because of his healthy lifestyle. While Pogba, he does not drink alcoholic beverages because it is in accordance with the teachings of his religion, namely Islam.

Seeing this, Kane did not want to join in. In fact, he views it as behavior that should not be done because sponsors have paid big money to get a place at Euro 2020.

“The sponsors deserve what they want, if they have paid to do it,” Kane said, as quoted by ESPN, Friday (18/6/2021).

“It’s not something I personally think too much about. Obviously, I’ve seen it on social media, but if I’m being honest, I’m more focused on tomorrow than anything like that.”
