Saudi Al-Nasr striker Cristiano Ronaldo surprised his mother Maria Dolores Aveiro by giving her an expensive car for her birthday.
The Portuguese flew to Madeira to see his family and congratulate his mother on her 69th birthday. A video was published on social networks that captured the moment of receiving a gift – a Porsche Cayenne tied with a red ribbon. The woman could not contain her emotions.
– If she is happy, it is because her son remembers her, and not because of the cost of the gift. Respect your father, your mother and you will live long,” the footballer’s sister Katya Aveiro wrote on social networks.
Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner. He finished the calendar year with 54 goals scored (two more than Bayern’s Harry Kane and PSG’s Kylian Mbappe), becoming the world’s top goal scorer.
