Cristiano Ronaldo struggles to find personal chef despite 4.5 lakh per month offer

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the headlines since his shock move to the Saudi Pro League in December 2022. Ronaldo still has plenty to offer and may be aiming to play for a few more years. However, it looks like Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez are preparing for life after football. Now a recent report from MailOnline suggests the 37-year-old is struggling to find a personal chef for his retirement home in Portugal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or is looking for a chef who can cook both Portuguese dishes and international specialties like sushi in their new mansion. There are reports that Ronaldo is willing to pay up to £4,500 per month (about 4.5 lakh) to the hired chef. However, Ronaldo was unable to find a suitable candidate for the job despite having a high salary.

Dubbed his ‘forever home’, Cristiano Ronaldo is building a grand mansion worth £17million at Quinta da Marinha in Portugal.

The mansion, due for completion in June, will be Ronaldo’s main family residence once he hangs up his boots, MailOnline reported.

Cristiano Ronaldo was last seen in the blockbuster friendly between the Saudi All-Star XI and Paris Saint-Germain. Ronaldo was the captain of the Saudi All-Star XI, made up of players from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. Also, this game was possibly the last meeting of Lionel Messi and Ronaldo as both are on the wrong side of the 30s. The game itself was a goalscoring fest. Ronaldo even rolled back the years by scoring two goals. But PSG eventually won the best score case 5-4. Although the former Manchester United striker couldn’t propel his side to victory, he will be happy with his performance as he prepares to make his first competitive appearance for Al Nassr on Sunday.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently completed a high-profile move to Al-Nassr in a deal worth $200m. The historic deal will see him play for the Saudi side until June 2025.

The Portuguese star is eyeing a fresh start after his fallout with Manchester United and a disastrous FIFA World Cup campaign. The latest chapter in Ronaldo’s illustrious career comes weeks after Portugal’s World Cup quarter-final exit in Qatar, where Lionel Messi’s Argentina finished as eventual champions.
