Cristiano Ronaldo sends a touching message to Solskjaer after being sacked by Man United

MANCHESTER Cristiano Ronaldo sends a heartwarming message to the sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Manchester United. The player nicknamed CR7 wished the Norwegian coach success in his future career.

Solskjaer was sacked by Man United after his team lost to Watford in Week 12 of the Premier League. The Red Devils lost heavily with the final score 4-1 at Virage Road Stadium, Saturday (20/11/2021).

The defeat made the Red Devils position further away from the opportunity to become Premier League champions this season. Man United is in 8th position with 17 points, five wins, two draws and five defeats.

After losing to Watford, the directors of Man United held an impromptu meeting. As a result, Solskjaer was expelled from Old Trafford.

Responding to this decision, Cristiano Ronaldo gave a touching farewell message to his former coach. He said Solskjaer was not only a coach for him, but also a friend.

The Portuguese superstar uploaded a photo of his togetherness with Solskjaer. He hopes that his friend can achieve success elsewhere.

“He was a striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he has been my coach since I came back to Manchester. But most importantly, Ole is an extraordinary human being. I wish him the best,” wrote Cristiano Ronaldo on his Instagram account @ cristiano.

“Good luck, my friend. You deserve it!” he added.

CR7 first arrived at Man United in 2003-2009. After playing for Real Madrid and Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Man United in 2021. He scored nine goals under Solskjaer, including 5 goals in the Champions League and four in the Premier League this season.
