Cristiano Ronaldo has reached 759 annotations in his entire career this Sunday, reaching the figure achieved by Josef Bican, so now both share the distinction of top scorers in the history of professional football.
One particular difference is that while it took ‘CR7’ 1,037 matches to reach this sum of goals, the former Austrian footballer would have done so in just 495 matches. It should be noted that the numbers include all official competitions.
The controversy around this type of statistics has not been long in coming and even, a few days ago, when Cristiano Ronaldo beat Pele’s mark as the second highest network-breaker in history, the Brazilian ex-star himself corrected on social networks by calling himself the number one with 1,283 goals in his career.
The 759 goals for ‘CR7’ are distributed as follows: 450 with Real Madrid, 118 with Manchester United, 84 with Juventus, 5 with Sporting de Portugal and 102 with the Portugal National Team.
The truth is that in recent weeks Cristiano Ronaldo has received multiple distinctions, not only as a scorer, but as the Best Player of the 21st Century, according to the Globe Soccer Awards.
