Manchester United’s Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, does not stop scoring despite the fact that his team is not going through its best moment.
During the 3-0 victory of the “Red Devils” against Brentford on Monday, Ronaldo reached 24 goals in the 2021-22 season. As far as the Premier League is concerned, his 18 goals are in third place behind the 22 of Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and the 19 of Son Heung-Min of Tottenham Hotspur.

Ronaldo has had a difficult time in recent days, due to the loss of a child he was expecting with his wife Georgina Rodríguez. In a recent game against Chelsea at Old Trafford, the crowd was very aware of the Portuguese’s mood and celebrated every action of the player.
“Thank you for the support at Old Trafford tonight. As always, our fans were incredible in their efforts to help the team,” Ronaldo wrote on his social networks after that game.
This could have been the last match at Old Trafford of his legendary career, as he apparently would not be in the team next season as various rumors suggest that new team manager Erik ten Hag would not have him in his plans.
