During his explosive interview about the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo addressed rumors linking him to a move to Brazilian giants Corinthians.
“Al-Nassr. My team is Al-Nassr,” said Ronaldo, coolly dismissing the question about the Brazilian team.
Ronaldo also boasted that he has helped put the spotlight on the professional league since moving to Saudi Arabia in 2022.
“My decision to join this club was 100% crucial to bring in new top players. That’s a fact,” said Ronaldo.
“When I came to Juve, Serie A was almost dead and after I signed it was revived. Cristiano creates more interest. In a year more and more top players will come to Saudi Arabia.”
“In a year, the Saudi Arabian league will overtake the Turkish and Dutch leagues,” added the Portuguese icon.
