Bayern coach Oliver Kahn has confirmed that the club will not try to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Last week, 37-year-old Ronaldo told Manchester United officials he wanted to leave this summer.

He was due to hold crisis talks with Eric Ten Hag on Monday but his return to pre-season training was delayed for family reasons.
Now he has been placed on an indefinite leave of absence from his new boss and staff, who currently have no idea when he will return.
Meanwhile, United officials have insisted the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will stay at Old Trafford until his contract expires next year, but several clubs have already expressed interest in his signing.
One of the interested clubs is rumored to be Bayern Munich, however, Kahn admitted Ronaldo would not fit into the squad.

Bayern legend Lothar Matthäus has urged his former team to bring him to the Allianz Arena to replace Robert Lewandowski, who is due to leave this summer.
But now the Portugal captain will go elsewhere, with Chelsea leading the transfer race.
The new blues chairman Buhle would like to sign it, but Thomas Tuchel has yet to give his approval.

Barcelona are also said to be interested in a surprise strike.
Joan Laporta recently confirmed he was in talks with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes to discuss a potential deal.
He said: “I had dinner with Jorge Mendes on Monday and we talked about the market in general.
“Cristiano? I’m not going to talk about the players that left the meeting, but it’s always interesting to see some of the names come to market.
“I’m not going to talk about the players one way or the other, that could be misunderstood.
“It doesn’t contribute to Barcelona’s interests. We have to respect players who have contracts with other teams.”
