Cristiano Ronaldo, who announced the launch of his channel to his hundreds of millions of followers on social networks, has very quickly accumulated nearly a million subscribers on YouTube. As if by a sign of destiny, the Al Nassr player reached this symbolic mark… in 90 minutes, the length of a football match without extra time.
The platform congratulated him on its X account (ex-Twitter). Proof that YouTube had anticipated that Ronaldo would break this subscription record, the Google subsidiary had given the Portuguese a “Golden Button”, the trophy offered to YouTubers who reach one million subscribers. The striker staged himself in a video showing this award to his children.

A little over 24 hours after the opening of his channel, Cristiano Ronaldo has surpassed the 20 million subscriber mark. He has thus crushed the previous record of the American videographer MrBeast, who took more than a year to reach this symbolic milestone.
On his channel, Cristiano Ronaldo has, at the time of writing, published 19 videos. The Portuguese star reveals elements of his private life with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, but also answers dilemmas, such as naming the best tennis player between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. The 39-year-old’s videos already have tens of millions of views.
