The fear of losing their superstars to Saudi Arabia has been banished for the time being for Europe’s top clubs. The transfer market in the desert state recently closed its doors. Then Cristiano Ronaldo is also expected to start playing again for his club Al-Nassr. According to information from CBS Sports, Mateo Kovacic is the next object of desire. The Premier League star, who is still tied to Manchester City until 2027, is reportedly in line for a mega salary.
According to the report, the 104-time Croatian international could earn around 60 million euros a year at Al-Nassr in the future. Undoubtedly an insane salary. The Saudi Arabian first division club had hoped to sign Kovacic at the end of the transfer window on Monday, but was unable to sell Sadio Mane and thus make room for an international player.
