Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the Karlsruhe company “Chrono24” with his company “CR7 SA”. The company is currently the largest online marketplace for luxury watches.
In an official statement from the company, Ronaldo said: “As a long-time watch collector and regular user of Chrono24, it is my pleasure to become a shareholder of the company.”
“Chrono24 offers millions of watch lovers from all over the world a place to share their passion. The global connectivity enabled by the platform is something I value immensely and am therefore very pleased to be a part of from now on,” the company quoted the 38-year-old as saying.
“He has already cemented his place as one of the greatest athletes in history and demonstrates an astute understanding of luxury and technology as an investor. Coupled with his authentic, time-tested passion for watch collecting, it makes him the perfect partner in Chrono24’s continued global expansion and next chapter,” said Stracke.
Founded in 2003, the company currently has locations in Karlsruhe, Berlin, New York, Miami and Tokyo.
