Cristiano Ronaldo will invest 70 M€ in a press group
In effect, Cristiano Ronaldo should very soon become a major shareholder of Cofina. The company is considered the largest press group in all of Portugal. The Al-Nassr striker should also become, according to Eco, the main shareholder of Cofina by making a 30% investment, an investment estimated at €70 million. This operation is all the more surprising since the press group owns the tabloid Correio da Manhã, with whom CR7 had a heavy history. The latter had notably denounced the voluntary controversies created by the media against the player.

This induction of Cristiano Ronaldo within the capital of Confina was announced by Luis Santana, managing director of the press group. “Counting on Cristiano Ronaldo (…) as an investor is naturally a great reason for satisfaction. The best player in the world is very enthusiastic about investing in the media of his country in a leading project”. The general manager of the company also specified that the fivefold Ballon d’Or would be “soon presented to the shareholders”, thus affirms the latter in remarks relayed by RMC Sport.
