The Portuguese is the brand new investor in UFL, a free soccer game that seeks to compete with the dominance of EA Sports FC and eFootball, after contributing 40 million euros (USD 43 million). The beginning of the link with the footballer was announced by the authorities of the initiative developed by StrikerZ on social networks: “Here we go! Cristiano Ronaldo joins the UFL as an investor. “We are excited to work together in the UFL and create a fair and skilled game for football fans around the world.”
This simulator could be released as early as 2024, although it does not have an official release date, and its validity is confirmed for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. It will have the Free to Play mode, which implies being able to play at no additional cost, but the basic functions could enter that combo. In this way, different additional fees could be paid at prices that have not been detailed so far.

“I like to bet on entrepreneurial projects with solid characteristics, to spread the best we have in Portugal throughout the world. In addition to football, I am passionate about health, technology and research, and they are areas in which I would like to invest,” CR7 had declared some time ago about his interests when it comes to getting into a field outside of football.
The UFL statement
During his career, the star was the main image of the most important brands linked to gambling, clothing and airlines, among others. According to the American publication Celebrity Net Worth, which specializes in large fortunes, his assets at the end of 2022 will reach 500 million euros.
