At the end of the season, Cristiano Ronaldo could well shake the transfer window in the same way as the new stars Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland. Indeed according to the British press, the Portuguese could leave Manchester United this summer if he is not satisfied with the next manager appointed. The 36-year-old made a fantastic return to Old Trafford with 14 goals in 22 appearances, but that wasn’t enough to save Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s lead or solidify the Red Devils’ place in the Top 4.
According to Daily Star, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future after the summer will depend on the identity of the permanent coach appointed after the end of Ralf Rangnick’s tenure as interim coach. The newspaper indicates that the new general manager Richard Arnold – who replaced Ed Woodward – will not have the right to the error if he does not want to put back the five-time Ballon d’Or.
