The Portuguese forward chatted with Wojciech Szczesny, with whom he shared a team during his time at Juventus, and released a funny phrase involving FC Barcelona, the Pole’s new team.

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be one of the most decisive footballers in the world at 39 years old. The current Saudi Al Nassr striker scored in his last game for Portugal and continues to inflate his scoring statistics with the Portuguese team, with which he already has 133 goals.
After the duel against Poland in the Nations League, the top scorer in the history of football was reunited with Wojciech Szczesny, his former teammate when he played for Italian Juventus between 2018 and 2021.
Both share a certain friendship that was created in their years together and after the end of the match where Portugal beat Poland 3-1, they both met again in the tunnel.
“I have signed for Barcelona,” the Pole told the Portuguese while he took pictures with some children.
Ronaldo immediately lets out a smile and after confirming to Szczesny that he already found out, he says “you had to retire to go to a big club“, between laughs.
Simple but spicy, that was the phrase that was captured in a video that soon went viral.
The statement might not go down well in Italy, since from what has been said it is interpreted that Ronaldo does not consider Juventus a big club, even though he played there for a few years.
