BRATISLAVA – In Tuesday’s match of the Saudi Arabian League, Al-Nassr lost 2:0 against Al-Hilál with star Cristiano Ronaldo in the starting line-up.
Al-Nassru did not succeed in the first match after the dismissal of coach Rudi Garcia from last week, who was temporarily replaced by the coach of the under-19 team, Dinko Jeličič from Croatia. The just mentioned Ronaldo provided quite an interesting moment.
This time, however, it was not about his football skills, but rather about the huge frustration with the development of the meeting itself. During the match, Ronalo was a participant in a curious moment in which he took down an opponent with a wrestling grip. After this indiscriminate and unsportsmanlike intervention, he immediately saw a yellow card from the referee.
After this loss, Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr drops three points to table leader Ittihad, who also has a game in hand. It seems that the Portuguese will have to fight hard for the coveted master’s title.
