Throughout his career he was the main man of Portugal, even as a teenager he was extremely important to the team. Now captain and leader of the national team, he scored 102 goals in 170 caps and won a European Championship.

Is Ronaldo the GOAT?

As a youngster, Ronaldo was a mercurial winger who tore through defenses with his silky skills. Today, he is one of the most complete players on the planet and a ruthless goalscorer.

Ronaldo added another record to an incredible collection of accomplishments he has accumulated throughout his career.

Some wonder if Ronaldo broke the record in the same way Messi’s club record did last week. Yet, record or not, scoring 759 career goals is a magnificent feat.

There is no doubt that Ronaldo is firmly in the GOAT debate and this record is just another example of how he is one of the best players the game has ever seen.
