The 35-year-old took 1,037 games to reach the feat. Bican, by comparison, has scored 759 official goals in a breathtaking 495 games.

The Portuguese forward will be determined to break Bican’s record when Juvethe Turin plays against Genoa in Coppa Italia later this week.

If he rests for that one, he could break the record against Inter Milan on January 17.

Meanwhile, there has been much speculation about Ronaldo’s future at Juventus. If reports are to be believed, Ronaldo could leave the Turinese in the coming season. There is nothing official about it.

In 2021, Ronaldo would also have other records in sight. He needs seven more international goals to become the top international scorer of all time.

As transfer season approaches, it would be interesting to see Ronaldo’s plans.
