Cologne (SID) – Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has distracted himself from the sporting misery at Juventus Turin and bought a brand new Ferrari. As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the 36-year-old Portuguese bought the “Monza SP2” model for 1.6 million euros and had the Ferrari “personalized” in Maranello.
Ronaldo flew to Maranello by helicopter accompanied by Juve President Andrea Agnelli, where he met Formula 1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz as well as Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto.
For Ronaldo and record champions Juventus, things are not going at all in the league, the club has slipped to fifth and threatens to miss the Champions League after nine previous championships. The superstar should be spared at the home game against Sassuolo Calcio on Wednesday.
