Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has sent an enthusiastic message to fans ahead of facing Morocco in the World Cup.
Tomorrow, Saturday 10 December, at five in the evening, Cairo time, at the Al-Thumama Stadium, Morocco’s match against Portugal in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup will begin tomorrow, Saturday 10 December.
Ronaldo said in a post he made on his personal account on the social networking site ‘Facebook’: ‘I see Portugal have already won the World Cup.’
He added: “The Fans’ Cup! The support and love we have felt from so many Portuguese (and not only!) people here in Qatar, far from our country, is incredible.”
He continued: ‘Keep supporting us through thick and thin, and we will do everything we can to give you victories! Come on, Portugal!
