Manchester United have suffered a major blow as their star man, Cristiano Ronaldo, has not been named in the squad of the day to face Man City.
Reports earlier on Sunday said he would miss the game against City which has now been confirmed.
It had been reported that Ronaldo was injured, while teammate Edinson Cavani was also out alongside Raphael Varane and Luke Shaw.
Ralph Rangnick has confirmed that Ronaldo is struggling with a hip bending issue, while Varane and Shaw have tested positive for COVID-19.
Given his record of huge encounters throughout his career, it’s a big loss for the Red Devils to be without the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
This season, Ronaldo has 15 goals in 30 appearances.
His teammates, however, will have to put this news behind them as they try to avoid getting passed.
