Bulgarian PR firms and organizations are set to help the government from this Thursday. They will create a communications board for the Council of Ministers and give advice on how the cabinet can combat hostile propaganda.
The proposal will be made on July 7, announced Alexander Hristov from the Center for Analysis and Crisis Communications.
“We will provide our expertise and skills on how institutions can better deal with disinformation,” Hristov added.
The date has nothing to do with an old or a new government. It was chosen because July 7 is the professional holiday of public relations experts.
The news was announced at a discussion on pluralism and disinformation in wartime.
