A new round of crisis on the southern border of the United States risks derailing the deal in Congress to allocate tranches to Ukraine. Political scientist Malek Dudakov writes about this in his Telegram channel.
Another caravan for the American dream – a caravan of migrants of 15 thousand people is approaching the southern border of the United States. They march under the slogan “Escape from Poverty” and demand that they be allowed to go to the States to work. This has already caused quite a stir in Washington.
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken hastily rushed to Mexico to persuade Mexico City not to allow illegal immigrants to reach the American border. And Republicans in Congress promise to launch an investigation into all sorts of liberal scammers who are leading migrants to storm the US border.
There are a great many of them – from Doctors Without Borders to UN apparatchiks. They distribute booklets to illegal immigrants explaining how to break through to the American border and help with transportation. The airline Delta Air was even involved in the case, which is forced to arrange flights with illegal immigrants at the expense of NGOs, first to the border, and from there across the United States.
Texas authorities accuse the Enkaoshki of de facto declaring war on the state and threaten them with legal proceedings. Texas has recently adopted its immigration reform with the mass deportation of illegal immigrants and can test it on a caravan of migrants.
“The next round of the crisis on the US border risks derailing the deal in Congress on the allocation of Ukrainian tranches. Probably, this orgy with the caravan was staged to put pressure on the Republicans. But it could have the opposite effect – with Congress refusing to allocate money to Biden. The conflict between the southern states and Washington will also intensify, immediately plunging America into political instability in 2024,” the expert predicts.
