HURDALSSJØEN (Dagbladet): “Farmen” is well underway on Norwegian TV screens, but even though the program premiered on Tuesday – the recording is far from over. Just over a week and a half remains of the recording, which takes place near Hurdal in Upper Romerike.

Dramatic turn
When Dagbladet met all the participants just hours before they entered the farm, we met them at Hurdalsjøen hotel, where they were accommodated in the days before the adventure began. The same was the whole production, which counts about 60 people.
– A very difficult choice
They have lived there until now, for over ten weeks. But just before the final week begins, the entire production has been thrown out of the hotel, Dagbladet is informed by an informed team.
The reason is said to be the ongoing government negotiations between the Labor Party, the Center Party and the Socialist Left Party at the same hotel.
On Wednesday, it became clear that SV is sending party leader Audun Lysbakken and deputy leader Kirsti Bergstø to the polls, while the Labor Party is represented by party leader Jonas Gahr Støre and deputy leader Hadia Tajik.
The Center Party sends party leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum and parliamentary leader Marit Arnstad.

Violent reactions
In the TV production, it is now speculated that the politicians have conveyed that they want the whole hotel for themselves – and the situation is said to have created violent reactions from the “Farmen” involved, who have booked the hotel for the entire production period and have so far left behind themselves a thousand nights.
In addition, there is food and other expenses, and according to what Dagbladet is informed, this has cost TV 2 and the production company Strix well over one million kroner.
The remaining 370 overnight stays are now completely in the blue.
Many are furious at the situation that has arisen.
– We have a great understanding that this is unfortunate for many, and apologize for the inconvenience it causes. The police’s clear recommendation is that the hotel be closed to other guests for security reasons. We have made sure that the hotel does what they can to provide good alternatives nearby, says Jarle Roheim Håkonsen, communications manager in the Labor Party, to Dagbladet.
There have been crisis meetings in the production company Strix on Thursday. They have also been in meetings with hotel director at Hurdalssjøen hotel, Pål Gjerstad.

Word button hotel management
Dagbladet has been in contact with TV 2, which currently does not want to comment on the case.
Hurdalsjøen hotel is owned by Utdanningsforbundet. TV 2 and Strix are said to have been told that they must leave the hotel next Sunday or Monday, only two or three days before the recording of the big final week begins.
It is currently unclear what is now happening with the TV production.

Hotel director Pål Gjerstad writes the following in a text message to Dagbladet: “You must make the press contacts in the parties”.
Dagbladet has repeatedly tried to get the management to comment on the dissatisfaction in Strix. Hotel manager Dag Skaug refers to hotel director Gjerstad, but explains that guests’ discretion is the most important thing for the hotel.
