Crisis in the CBF: Brazilian Football Federation Faces Unstable Climate Despite Leadership Changes

With love you have love, with a thorn you have a thorn

Despite the apparent pacification, the climate in the CBF remains unstable. Even though Rodrigues returned to office, the opposition did not deliver.

There is an expectation that the opponents, who have former presidents Ricardo Teixeira and Marco Polo Del Nero as some of their leaders, will decide to define possible steps.

“There is no longer an electoral process, it is part of the past. It was a very frank and loyal conversation, it helped us look forward. Ednaldo will have a more constant dialogue, this was received as a good sign”, said Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos, president of the FPF.

Tomorrow (9), Ednaldo will sit down with the 40 clubs from Series A and B, as well as the presidents of the state federations. The director tries to cool things down and stop the crisis that surrounds Brazilian football.
