One of the most emotional and memorable moments of the night was the one that starred Cris Morena and his son Tomas YankelevichThe producer received her award for her career and this recognition was presented by the producer and director.
“Hi, mommy, didn’t you expect it? You know that I avoid cameras a lot. But love conquers all and here I am.”Yankelevich said, surprising his mother, who could not contain her joy as she was not expecting his presence. This was because Tomás does not usually appear in front of the cameras.
And he continued: “Accompanying you at such a special moment is a privilege and I couldn’t miss it. Along the way you have received countless recognitions, in music and abroad.. The beautiful thing is that this Martín Fierro is your home, in the country you love so much and surrounded by teachers who already consider you one more teacher. Today there are people watching who know who you are but they don’t know you in depth.”.
During his speech, Yankelevich also addressed the negative comments his mother receives. “Some fans of your projects, of your dreams transformed into stories, of your poems transformed into songs and of the magic that reappears in your stories. Some haters hanging around who can’t tolerate that deep themes are touched upon in your fantasy world.”
Finally, the television director highlighted Cris Morena’s qualities that made her the figure she is today. “Those of us who work alongside you know that everything you achieved is due to having clear convictions, doing what is morally correct, respecting your audience, and your obsession with the small details, those that make the difference and make you unique and unrepeatable.
