After criminals tampered with in a bar on Pfungstädter Strasse in Darmstadt-Eberstadt early on Saturday morning (9th) and captured a television set, the police are looking for witnesses.

At around 5 a.m., two previously unknown men entered the restaurant. There they were apparently aiming for a flat-screen TV, which they subsequently stole. Because of the noise caused, a neighbor woke up and saw how the criminal duo carried their loot out of the bar and escaped in the direction of Heidelberger Landstrasse. The neighbor immediately alerted the police. An immediately initiated manhunt has so far been unsuccessful.

Overall, the damage is estimated at over 1,000 euros. How the strangers managed to get into the bar must be checked as part of the investigation.

Anyone who has made further suspicious observations in this context or can provide other relevant information is requested to contact the police station
42 in Pfungstadt on 06157 / 9509-0.
