Erik Aliste Inostroza remained in preventive detention, who was formalized by the prosecutor (s) Richard Urra Blanco for the crime of robbery in an inhabited place, after being detained by Carabineros in Chillán.

The prosecutor(s) explained that the accused was surprised by the owner of a house when he was stealing a gas bottle from the property. When he was discovered, he fled, but was later arrested by the police who were alerted to the incident.

At the time of the arrest, he attempted to escape and threatened police officers. Two penknives were seized from the defendant’s clothing.

Prosecutor(s) Urra explained at the hearing that the freedom of the accused represents a danger to the security of society, an argument that was taken up by the court when decreeing preventive detention.
