According to the source, the reason for the dismissal was the opening of criminal proceedings against Farion on a number of articles.
“The reason is Farion’s violation of Article 41 of the Labor Code: the commission by an employee performing educational functions of an immoral offense that is incompatible with the continuation of this work,” the sources clarify.
The order to leave on November 15 was approved by the rector of the Lviv Polytechnic Yuriy Bobalo.
Ministry of Education confirms Farion’s dismissal
At the same time, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lesnoy in his Twitter confirmed information about Farion’s dismissal. He noted that in Ukraine students are the driving force of change and transformation.
“The position of the ministry is unchanged – people who do not share the values of dignity and do not feel respect for soldiers have no place in the education system. I hope that the SBU, within the framework of open criminal proceedings, will give a fair assessment of the statements and actions of the former teacher of the Lviv Polytechnic,” he wrote.
It should be recalled that today the Security Service opened criminal proceedings for violation of the following articles:
violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, regional affiliation, religious beliefs, disability and other characteristics; insult to the honor and dignity of a serviceman, threats to a serviceman; violation of the confidentiality of correspondence, telephone conversations, telegraphic or other correspondence transmitted by means of communication or via a computer; violation of privacy.
