Criminal line crossed by Akwasi – The Daily Standard

Criminal attorney Jan Vlug has responded to the – suddenly – deleted tweets from opportunity pearl Akwasi. The rapper may have been guilty of calling for a terrorist crime, according to Vlug. Let’s see if the Public Prosecution Service is taking the case faster this time.

Akwasi himself plays the stupid innocence, he would have been ‘hacked’. Anyone with an IQ higher than their shoe size will of course immediately see that this is the most cowardly excuse there is.

Lawyer Vlug is clear, yes, there was incitement in Akwasi’s old tweets. However, the tweets are ‘time-barred’.

“However, there is a limitation period of three years for that.” But, says Vlug, there may even be a more serious crime. “Trying to force the government to abolish Zwarte Piet by murdering Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet could well be regarded as a terrorist objective.”

Fellow lawyer Richard van der Weide believes that if Wilders can be prosecuted for something less explicit, then Akwasi should.

“What applies to Wilders also applies to Akwasi. I think that in the case of Akwasi the criminal line has certainly been crossed. ”

How will Akwasi talk himself out of this this time? Another case of artistic freedom?
