Ukrainian police have opened a criminal case against former adviser to Zelensky’s office, Alexei Arestovich. Verkhovna Rada deputy Inna Sovsun announced this today, October 12.
“Today I received a response from the police about the start of a pre-trial investigation. I also have an answer from the Prosecutor General that the case has been transferred to the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office,” she wrote in her Telegram channel.
Previously, a deputy filed a complaint against Arestovich because at his closed “psychological seminars” he called women “creatures that you want to strangle.”
Sovsun believes that charges can be brought under Art. 300 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (import, production or distribution of works promoting the cult of violence and cruelty, racial, national or religious intolerance and discrimination).
