David Novotný plays the head of the criminal team, Karel. A determined senior cop who knows what he wants has respect in the team, but as is the case with serial detectives, he must also have “trauma from the past”. In his case, the point is that he once caused serious damage to a friend in military counterintelligence, who then ended up as a disabled person.

The opposite of the experienced Karel is a young policewoman Jana Šímová, who plays rough. He is in great shape and has a reduced ability to perceive fear. She is disciplined, hardworking, ambitious, but without empathy.
