Crimea, News | The dog’s disappearance sparked a lot of interest. Now the family has received sad news.

Lasse Sandal stood in BA on Tuesday and talked about two events that affected him and his girlfriend recently.

First, the family dog Fenris went missing on Friday morning. The police suspect that someone we tried to set the bottom of the house on fire the next night.

Sandal told the story, among other things, to get advice on where the dog might be injured. On Wednesday, he says the dog was found dead.

– Although what has happened is very sad, it was also good to get an answer, he says to BA.

Do not suspect anything criminal

Sandal and his girlfriend received the message when they were out hanging posters in the Bergen area on Wednesday afternoon.

– The neighbor had come up the road to ask if I was at home. Unfortunately, he had found Fenris dead in the pool, said Lasse.

Sandal doesn’t suspect anything criminal about what happened, and calls it an accident. Fenris was loose on the day of the accident, which he usually does with the family’s other dog.

He says the neighbor’s swimming pool is covered with a tarpaulin.

– Unfortunately, Fenris probably tripped, ended up under the tarpaulin and drowned. It’s an accident, Sandal sighs.

The police have always said that they saw no obvious connection between the fire and the missing dog. The family has been open to that.

– Everyone was happy with it

He says that the news affects the family. There has been a huge turnout from people who wanted to help find the dog.

– Everyone loved him. At the same time, it is good to know how he died, and that he was not tortured by anyone.

In particular, Sandal believes, it’s uplifting to know that the person who is supposed to be on the eerie journey may not have anything to do with Fenris’ disappearance.

– Fortunately, he is not connected, although what happened at night is sick enough in itself.

Police have asked the public to report any tips regarding suspicious activity or people near Totlandsvegen at around 0100 on Saturday 24 August.

Sandal has told BA that he went down to the basement to investigate after hearing noises.

– I looked into the basement and shouted: “Hello!” before I opened the cellar door completely. Then I saw that there was a petrol can on the floor. The cork was removed, and the beak burned like a torch, he said on Tuesday.
