Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – In the proceedings for the sexual abuse of boys in Denzlingen (Emmendingen district), the defendant made a confession through his defense lawyer. A spokesman for the Freiburg regional court announced on Tuesday. In addition, the man described his career at the start of the process.

The 45-year-old defendant is on trial because, according to the public prosecutor, he made contact with boys via Whatsapp groups and sexually abused them between 2016 and 2018 in his apartment in Denzlingen and other places in the area. He must answer for the sexual abuse of young people and the possession and distribution of youth pornography.

Police officers are to be heard as witnesses on Thursday. According to the court spokesman, the verdict could already be reached on Tuesday (January 19). Appointments were originally set until January 26th (Ref .: 3 KLs 160 Js 40636/17).
