Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – A 72-year-old man has gone into a roof luggage box to hide from the police. She was looking for the man in a community in Markgräflerland because he did not pay a fine for fraud and extortion. The officers only found the wife, as the police announced on Thursday. During the subsequent more detailed search of the apartment building, they came across a roof luggage box in the attic. It was draped with all kinds of “junk”. The wanted one was inside – equipped with a pillow and thermal blanket.

He had probably prepared for the police search for him, because he could also pay the outstanding fine of several thousand euros in cash, as the police also announced. In the course of the search, three marijuana plants were also confiscated from a grow tent.
