Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – During a police check in Freiburg, a man is said to have approached one of the officers in such a threatening manner that he stopped the car with a shot in the tire. As the police reported on Tuesday, the 62-year-old was checked in a parking lot on Monday evening. Suddenly he drove off in the direction of the exit, but then turned around and headed towards the officer. In order not to be squeezed between a garbage container and the car, the policeman shot the tire. The 62-year-old driver, who had not previously been noticed by the police, was then arrested without resistance. The man’s motive is unclear; There is currently no evidence of a political background.
