Mumbai: The Cricket Club of India (CCI) is organizing an Under-15 cricket tournament for boys in the name of late Raj Singh Dungarpur. Various cricket academies in Mumbai will compete in the tournament.
The matches will be held at the Brabourne Stadium in Churchgate from 24th to 27th April. CCI Cricket Academy, Salgaonkar Sports Club, Mumbai Cricket Club, Avinash Salvi Foundation, Dream XI Academy, Sanjeevani Cricket Academy, Ours Cricket Academy and Aggies Federal Academy will compete. The eight teams will be divided into two groups and the best teams from each group will face each other in the finals.
Speaking at the event, former Indian player Dilip Venksarkar said that the number of teams will be increased from next year.
