In November 2024, the Orion spacecraft will deliver an international crew to the Moon, which includes American astronauts Christina Cook, Victor Glover and Reid Wiseman, as well as their Canadian colleague Jeremy Hansen. The composition of the Artemis 2 mission was published by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), reports TASS on Monday, April 3rd.
The four lucky ones will be the first earthlings who in the 21st century will see the satellite of our planet almost from a bird’s eye view. Their task will include a flyby of the moon. And now the next mission of Artemis 3 will be preparing for landing and further travel to Mars. The last event will occur no earlier than the mid-2030s.
