The perpetrators of the beating of the 49-year-old Greek-Canadian tourist in a bar in Heraklion, Crete, who was discharged yesterday afternoon (29/7) from Venizelio Hospital, remain missing.
The perpetrators have been identified and arrest warrants have been issued against them. From the group that attacked the family of tourists, a 31-year-old man from Zoniana and a 32-year-old man from Gazi, Crete, have been identified.
The course of the 49-year-old’s health
According to the doctors of the hospital, the fracture that the 49-year-old had suffered in his jaw has been fully restored, while the problem he is facing with his eye remains and will gradually be restored over time.
According to MEGA, the problem in the jaw, nasal and frontal cavity has been completely restored. Regarding the condition of his eye, there remains a small problem with his movement, which – according to the experts – is estimated to return to its full and normal function in 2 to 3 months.
However, the 49-year-old will return again next week to Venizelio in order to review and evaluate the course of his health.
