35 migrants are being transported to the Good Ports of Heraklion by a tug belonging to the company that owns the fuel filling station located in the area.
The migrants were located in a sea area south of Kale Limani and immediately there was a mobilization for their collection and transport. Women and children are said to be among them, while the presence of an EKAV ambulance has also been requested at the scene.
According to Cretalive, one of the women has been seriously ill as she is pregnant, while three of the children are suffering from fever.
Immediately after their arrival in Kalous Limenes, their transfer to the temporary accommodation area in Heraklion is expected by the Phaistos municipality.
