A serious hit-and-run accident occurred in Crete, when an unconscious driver ran over an 8-year-old child and left him covered in blood on the asphalt.

According to information from cretapost, everything happened yesterday afternoon, Easter Sunday, on a road in the forest of Rouva, in Gergeri.
The little boy was there with his family to celebrate Easter. At some point, a passing vehicle drags the 8-year-old, who falls to the ground and is injured.
The driver, however, instead of stopping the car and getting out to check the condition of the child, stepped on the gas and disappeared.
The 8-year-old was transferred to the University General Hospital of Heraklion, fortunately without his life being in danger, while the Police were informed of the incident, who launched a manhunt to locate the unconscious driver.
