A 40-year-old driver attacked a minor in Crete, in the area of Heraklion, when the young man remarked to him about dangerous driving.
More specifically, the 17-year-old attempted to cross the road at a crosswalk, with the passing driver not stopping and the minor observing him. Annoyed, the 40-year-old stopped the car and started chasing the young man after hitting him in the face, as shown in the video document obtained by MEGA.
After an investigation, the authorities were able to identify the 40-year-old, however, he remains at large.
What the father of the minor said about the incident in Crete
Speaking to MEGA, the minor’s father says:
«He went to cross the crossing with his girlfriend, they were also holding some food, they went to cross, the car passed in front of them, turned to his girlfriend, said something but did not curse. The other one stopped, started shouting to him what you said, what you did and they reached this point».
»He parks on the right outside the central bank opposite the KTEL, the central KTEL of Heraklion and stops the car on the right to get off and chase him around a car to catch him and such. He hit him, he had a mark on his eye, scratches on his neck and of course he hit him that’s why I sued him. She didn’t stop just talking to him, cursing him and of course she hit him for a beating we went. Then we followed the whole procedure, we went to the hospital, to a medical examiner. We don’t want any fuss or anything, we want him to be punished in an exemplary way for others to see. Where do we live? Sorry. Do we want to live in such a society?».
