So he often keeps stock of the crepes he sells using a chiller or freezer, so his wares don’t go stale easily. But unfortunately, one of the freezers turned out to be broken, until all the crepes in it were stale because they were runny.
The video of Kieda crying while making hundreds of stale crepes went viral on his TikTok (18/07). In the video, Kieda explains that he found the freezer in his kitchen damaged.
There are hundreds of crepes ready to be sold so they are stale and inedible. In the end, he had no other choice but to throw them away one by one. The total loss he experienced due to this problem was almost RM 10,000 (Rp 33 million).
“It hurts me to see this much food being thrown away. Moreover, all of this food is made from scratch,” Kieda confides while crying in the video.

One of them is by producing and making hundreds of crepes from scratch with their employees. So that orders that have been entered are not hampered.
Apart from selling online, Kieda does have an offline store that is always flocked by buyers. Therefore he did not want to disappoint buyers who are already lining up.
“Life is tough, but our shop in Seberang Perai Penang remains open to the public as usual,” concluded Kieda.
