“The Sampdoria it’s a club I’m very attached to, it made me grow in the Primavera and I was very happy in those 4 years; for me playing at Marassi and wearing that shirt represented something unique. TO Bologna wearing the captain’s armband was the realization of a goal that I had from a young age”.
Poli: “Playing for Milan was a dream”
The former AC Milan midfielder added:
“I have played in important teams in these 14 years. The Milan in particular, it was a dream because it has always been my favorite team. I also wrote it in my first essay in elementary school: ‘I would like to play in the Milan shirt’.
I’ve always wanted to play in Serie A and I’ve managed to do that for most of my career. Having said that, I needed stimuli and to find an environment that would give me the joy of playing football: that’s why I’m in Modena”.
