An unusual fish with a “human face” was spotted in a Chinese lake.

The creepy carp was caught on camera by a visitor to a village near Kunming in the south of the country.
Back in 2019, footage was published on the Chinese social network Weibo that showed a fish swimming to the edge of a lake and poking its head out of the water.
On the fish’s head there were dark spots that resembled eyes, two vertical lines that resembled the sides of a nose, and a horizontal line where the mouth should have been. “The fish has turned into a fairy,” the woman commented.
People were frightened by this sight: “This is scary,” “Who dares to eat this?”, “How terrible.”
Some have even compared the fish to Voldemort, the alien and animated fish from the 2004 animated film Shark Tale.
