The popular restaurant was previously located in Trondheim, but is now aiming its nose at the capital. There they will develop a communication and serving concept with a “focus on Norwegian food culture, food traditions and cultural history”.
– By relocating Credo and collaborating with the National Library, we see the opportunity to reach a wide audience with knowledge of Norwegian food culture and sustainability, says founder and owner Heidi Bjørkan.
The restaurant turned 25 in October. In 2019, it was awarded its first Michelin star. In the renowned guide, the restaurant was praised for its sustainable operation, close contact with producers and the processing of the raw materials.

Credo and the National Library have entered into an agreement of intent, and will together develop and sharpen the concept going forward. An agreement on operations will probably be in place in early 2024. Planned start-up is set for summer or autumn.
– We are extremely happy about the collaboration with Credo, says director of cultural communication Eline Skaar Kleven at the National Library.
